Overview
TxRH2 is a two-wire Relative Humidity Transmitter. The Relative Humidity sensor used here, uses an industrially proven thermoset polymer, three layer capacitance construction, platinum electrodes and on-chip silicon integrated voltage output signal conditioning. The sensor responds to the full range from 0-100% relative humidity. Its response is essentially linear, with small hysterisis and negligible temperature dependence. This change is then converted to its mV equivalent. TxRH2 amplifies the analog output of the sensor by an operational amplifier and converts it to the corresponding output current of 4 – 20 mA. It is designed for a two-wire connection in which the supply current value conveys the information about relative humidity.
